“ Loved the cozy, well worn locally owned vibe. Totally packed at 11:30am on a Sunday, but no wait. Service friendly and attentive. Menu is huge and includes sandwiches, salads etc for lunch and dinner, but my understanding is they earned their rep from breakfast, and indeed they have a wide variety of various egg, omelette, and pancake options available. I had the biscuit&gravy special, my wife the strawberry French toast. Food was hot, fresh, flavorful, plentiful- if you leave hungry it's on you haha. Biscuits a little doughy but it's a quibble. All in solid experience and will be back. ”

“ I'm visiting Belleville for a few days to attend an event with my home-town family. I grew up here in Belleville but have now lived longer in Philadelphia than I lived in Illinois. I was happy to have breakfast here with my aunt and 2 very good friends. This is my aunt's favorite place to grab breakfast and I can see why. So many really good choices of omelettes, nice breakfast specials and very decent diner food. My omelette was cooked well and was filled with all the vegetables that were listed on the menu. It came with hash browns that were crispy and potato-y and a really good biscuit. Everyone was more than satisfied with their order and the service was quick and friendly! If you are looking for a home-cooked-tasting breakfast, I recommend. ”

“ I passed by this place while working and decided to come back and try it out. I am so glad that I did.The server, Othell, was A1. He was very polite and informative. I had the chicken and waffles. Waffle was really good and the chicken was moist and delicious. The American fries were seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere had a very home like feel. I will definitely be returning and bringing friends and family. ”

“ I believe this place is completely underrated. This has been my go to place for breakfast for quite some time based on the food and the service. I wouldn't classify it as a hole in the wall, but it's not frilly. Which shines here are the amazing omelettes pancakes, and even their burgers are great too. The servers are always nearby if you need anything and the prices are very very good for what you get. If you're hungry and want good value, I don't know any other place better than this honestly. ”

“ Food was good, mom and pop atmosphere and the prices were okay. They weren't too busy and there was only one waiter, who was super nice and efficient too. I didn't like that my "catfish" filets, although cooked well was actually Swai fish and I don't like Swai. ”
